Camarena Health is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Madera County, serving over 71,000 patients annually across 24 health facilities. Camarena is using NMTC financing to develop three new health centers to address critical gaps in pediatric, senior, and urgent care services in Madera, California.
This expansion includes a Pediatric Medical and Dental facility, providing medical, dental, and behavioral health services for over 8,500 children; a Senior Medical Care facility, offering primary care, behavioral health, and case management to support 4,500 seniors; and a Downtown Madera urgent care and family medicine facility, delivering primary and urgent care services to 12,000+ patients.
Together, these facilities will provide more than 65,000 patient visits annually, strengthening community health resources while also expanding workforce development programs to sustain a robust healthcare pipeline in the Central Valley.
